Throwback Thursday – Primrose

Meet Primrose, the star of this week’s throwback Thursday, and the latest addition to our office dog team.

We caught up with mum Kirsty, to find out more about this lovely little lady.

Name – ‘Prebend Primrose’ (pet name Primrose or Pimms)

Why this name?

‘Her name was given by her breeder. The entire litter were girls and were all named after flowers.’

Age – 6 years old

Breed – English Springer Spaniel

Why did you choose this breed?

‘I’ve always loved this breed. They are known to be a little ‘nutty’ just like me.’

How old was Primrose when she joined your family?

‘We chose her from the litter at 3 weeks old, then she joined our family at 10 weeks.’

Where did you get your Primrose from?

‘She was from a local, reputable, registered breeder.’

Food she loves – Carrots

Food she hates – Lettuce

Favourite human – Her mummy

Favourite toy – Tennis balls

‘She loves everyone and everything. She particularly loves walks on the farm and running around the fields with her tennis ball. Loves meeting new friends.’

‘She hates noisy, barky dogs.’

If you could have any other breed what would it be?

‘A Spinone Italiano. A puppy visited the vets I used to work at, and I fell in love with him. Such a gorgeous breed.’

We are always on the lookout for handsome hounds and pretty pooches to take part in our throwback Thursday features. If you would like to take part, contact the team at Hello@Buddies.co.uk.
