Throwback Thursday – Bertie Lakeland

Meet Bertie, the star of this week’s throwback Thursday.

We asked Bertie’s pawrents some questions to find out more about this incredibly handsome little hound.

‘Cuthbert ‘Bertie’ Lakeland. Embarrassingly his Kennel Name is ‘Daffodil Dash’ as he was born on the 29th February.’

Why this name?

‘Dad liked Cuthbert and Mum liked Bertie.’

‘3 years 7 months.’

‘Lakeland Terrier.’

Why this breed?

‘Lakeland Terriers are fun, challenging and larger than life. They can be naughty and wilful but are fabulous characters.’

‘He was just 10 weeks old.’

Where did you get Bertie from?

‘Bertie was from a lovely local home breeder named Victoria.’

Favourite food?

‘Very chewy chews.’

Favourite human?

‘Definitely Mum.’

Favourite toy?

‘Bertie doesn’t have a favourite.’

‘Getting himself into trouble and chasing things.’

Any funny or interesting stories to share?

‘Oh, there are so many! Bertie fell off a 60ft cliff when he was little and even did a Radio Interview with the BBC.  He also has a huge 13,800 lovely followers on twitter.’
