Last year’s dog and bitch class qualifiers were held at the UK Toy Dog Society championship show at Stafford county showground on Saturday 31st March.
Both classes had a fantastic turn out with judging from Norma Inglis.
The first to qualify was Richard Forsythe, with his 15-month-old English Toy Terrier ‘Witchstone Tommy Hawk at Richpin’, who is also known as Spike.
Winner of the bitch class was Anita Lunam, and 20-month-old Pug ‘Rhodenash Kotten Khiara Avec Anzhela’, who’s pet name is Lexi.
Both Lexi and Spike performed exceptionally well at the Grand final, which was held at Thrumpton Hall in Nottinghamshire, back in February this year. Both dogs were shortlisted by judge Meg Purnell-Carpenter, and Lexi went on to receive runner up, winning a fabulous rosette and £250.
