Waggy Tales – Ozzy

In this waggy tale we meet Ozzy, a 3-year-old Lhasa Apso.

Little Ozzy’s family first became concerned when they noticed he was dragging his hind legs.

‘Ozzy is usually playful and bouncy, but this day he was very docile.’ Says dad Mark.

Mark took Ozzy to the vets, who were initially concerned that the symptoms could be caused by an issue with his spine. Each time the vet examined Ozzy, he would tense and show signs of pain when his spine was touched.

Ozzy was referred to a hospital, who, following and MRI and additional tests, were able to confirm that thankfully there were no problems with his spine.

‘Further tests were performed, and Ozzy was diagnosed with a stomach upset. After a few days receiving treatment, he was recovering well.’

‘We were very worried about the bills which seemed to be mounting up daily. However, we have a Buddies Pet Insurance policy and the process with them was great and put our minds at rest. We are very grateful to the hospital and Buddies’ Adds Mark.

After what must have been a scary time for Mark and his family, Ozzy is now back to his usual playful self and the Buddies team are extremely pleased.
