Throwback Thursday – Marley

Meet Marley, the star of this week’s throwback Thursday.

9-and-a-half-year-old Labradoodle Marley has been with the Bowlan family since she was just 10 weeks old.

The Bowlan family chose the breed as they are known for being very family friendly and good with children. ‘I fell in love with the scruffy curly coat! The breed is just so cute and loving!’, says mum Ellie.

‘We taught her to howl by making a howling noise and saying, “I am Marley Moooooo!”. She now howls the same way.’ Adds Ellie.

Marley moo also has a cheeky side, ‘Whenever I make meatballs for dinner, if Daniel is out running or at football, I’ll leave his on the side. Marley will always manage to steal 2 without disturbing any other food on the plate. So much so, that Daniel always asks how many .meatballs I made as you can’t tell she has managed to pluck them out.’ Says Ellie.

Marley answers to many names including ‘Marley-moo’, ‘Mardy-moo’ and even ‘curly girlie’.

When she was a puppy, Marley was jet black. However, she quickly changed to a charcoal colour which is a trait of labradoodles.

We are always on the lookout for #FriendsOfBuddies to feature in our posts. If you have a dog or cat, and would like to share their throwback photos, please email Becks @ Hello@Buddies.co.uk.
