Throwback Thursday – Lexi
Meet Lexi, The star of this week’s throwback Thursday.
2-year-old Pug Lexi has been with mum Anita since she was just 8 weeks old.
Anita fell in love with the breed whilst working as a pet sitter. ‘They are very affectionate and funny. I just love their shape and size and beautiful little faces.’ Says Anita.
Lexi is from a breeder named Kathy Storey who is based in Lancashire. Anita and Kathy have gone on to become close friends since Lexi’s birth.
Little Lexi is a successful show dog and earlier this year, she competed to secure herself a place at the Buddies Yearling of the Year Grand Final.
‘Lexi is a dream to show. Her enthusiasm is obvious, and she loves to spin and pirouette with excitement.’
‘At home she is quite bossy in the morning and lets me know when it’s time to get up by barking. She likes to be the watchman of the street, barking at the goings on if given the chance. This is done by straddling the settee arm. On the whole she is very easy to live with. I adore her, and she will be with me for the rest of her life.’ Adds Anita.
This May she produced 2 beautiful puppies. Anita was over the moon and kept the girl, which they have named Chloe. The boy from the litter has gone to live with his Champion Father.
