If you are anything like me and many of the staff in the Buddies office, your new year’s diet will have officially flopped. We are not alone in this, an average of 66% of UK adults give up on their new years diet in less than one month.
Our office dogs however, seem to have more determination. A few of us in the office vowed to ensure our dogs had a healthier diet and less treats from the table. We decided to scour the internet in search of the best home-made treats for our fit and healthy pooches.
A particular favourite of office dogs Elvis and Milo is the ‘sweet potato pretzels’ recipe we found from the fabulous PrettyFluffy.com. Only four ingredients needed and super easy to make. If you’re not a confident baker, we also found fantastic no bake recipes for ‘Puppy Peanut Butter Balls’ and yummy ‘Apricot Bliss Balls’ on their website too. These went down extremely well with the office dogs.
The guys over at ‘Tastemade’ specialise in delicious and easy to follow recipe videos which are very popular with staff at the Buddies Office. They recently shared a great recipe for dog treats! Their ‘Peanut butter and carrot’ biscuit recipe is easy to follow, and Office Dog Barney approved of the finished product.
Our newest Office Dog, Poochon puppy Maddy is currently teething. We looked for some tasty treats to help distract her from the pain. The treats that proved to keep her entertained for the longest and drive her quite wild were in fact the simplest. Frozen carrot batons or frozen beef stock from an ice cube tray proved to do the trick, and super healthy too.
