Dog Christmas Jumper Guide

Friday 14th December will see the Buddies team and office dogs don their Christmas jumpers to raise money for charity.

Each year, charity ‘Save the Children’ encourages thousands of people up and down the UK to pull on their festive jumpers and donate £2 to help create a brighter future for the children.

In preparation for the festive fun, our office dogs searched the internet for Christmas jumpers. Here are a few of their favourites…

A popular choice in the office was this classic santa jumper from ‘Pets at Home’. This jumper comes in a range of sizes. Small jumpers are priced at £10.00 and medium through to extra large are priced at £12.00.

Buddies team member Colette is a fan of this Christmas pudding dog jumper from ‘Matalan’. This jumper is a bargain at just £6 and comes in sizes small through to large.

For those wanting to splash out on a luxury jumper, we found this cosy polo neck penguin jumper from ‘Lords & Labradors’. This fabulous jumper ranges in price from £12.99-£24.99 and comes in sizes small through to XXX Large.

Does your dog have a Christmas jumper? We would love to see your photos, share them over on our Facebook page.

Don’t forget, playing “dress up” with your dog needs to be handled on an individual basis. Every dog is different, and some dogs that are fine wearing costumes and clothing one day may change their minds the next. If your dog shows signs of discomfort or distress, remove the costume. Also, be sure to monitor your dog’s temperature, the extra layers and excitement could cause them to overheat.
