Chihuahuas are famous for their diminutive size. However, this can vary greatly, with variations from 15 to around 40 cm. Often labelled as ‘difficult and highly-strung’ this trait is generally limited to poorly socialised pets. Chihuahuas have a tendency to bond strongly with one individual, who they are very protective over. Yet they do generally get on very well with other dogs, particularly fellow Chihuahuas.
